Setting Mobile Notifications for you Google Calendar Events
Organising tasks and events using Google Calendar is so amazing… It gives an overview of the things I need to do for a day and scheduling things are so much fun. There are two notification options Google Calendar that I know which is through email and sending SMS.
Notifications of events and tasks through emails is making my mails overcrowded and it makes ineffective on getting my attention . Unlike notifications through SMS specially if you are into a relation. For the reason that you don’t want your girlfriend get’s angry with her unanswered text messages, you have no choice but you have open your cellphone and eventually gets your attention everytime you get new text messages .
So let the fun begin.
So first, you have to have calendar with your google account and I assumed you have already one.
On the left side bar of the Google Calendar page, right click the drop menu arrow beside the name of your calendar and set of menu should appear and one of them is the Edit Notifications.
Then we are going to select the SMS option for the Events Notifications and click save. If your mobile number is not set you will be prompted to set your number and you will get a notification code to validate your mobile number and you’re ready to go.
